About Cozy Panda & Our Pottery
Where is Cozy Panda Event Co. located?
Cozy Panda Event Co. is a mobile pottery painting studio based in Raleigh, NC. We hand-pour our pottery pieces, hand-fill our paints, and carefully package orders from our Raleigh studio.
While we're based in Raleigh, our mobile pottery experiences travel throughout the Raleigh-Durham-Triangle area.
Are your pottery pieces handmade?
Yes! Every piece is hand-poured by us, every paint pot is hand-filled, and every order is hand-packaged with care.
Because our pottery is handmade rather than mass-produced, no two pieces are exactly alike.
Why does my pottery piece have a small blemish?
Our pottery pieces are hand-poured, so you may occasionally notice a tiny air bubble, small mark, or other natural blemish.
We call these little imperfections "birthmarks." 💛
They're part of what makes your piece unique and are simply a reminder that your pottery was handcrafted rather than mass-produced. These small blemishes won't affect your painting experience.
Painting & Pottery Questions
Do I need to bake or fire my pottery after painting?
No! Our pieces are made from a plaster-based mixture, so they don't require kiln firing or baking.
Simply paint your piece and enjoy your finished creation!
What type of paint should I use?
We recommend water-based acrylic paint for the best results and most vibrant finish. You're also welcome to use your own paints if you'd like.
Will the paint change color when it dries?
No! What you see is what you get. The color you apply should remain the same once it dries.
Do I need to seal my painted pottery?
We don't apply a finishing glaze to our pieces. If you'd like to give your finished pottery a more sealed or finished appearance, you can apply a thin coat of Mod Podge or a similar sealer once the paint has completely dried.
How long should I wait before painting my pottery?
For the best results, we recommend painting your kit within one month of receiving it. If you have additional paint or supplies, you're always welcome to use your own water-based acrylic paints as well.
Ordering, Shipping & Delivery
How long does it take to receive my order?
Our typical turnaround time is 1–2 weeks. Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking link by email so you can follow your package.
Where does Cozy Panda ship?
We currently ship our paint-your-own pottery kits to all 50 U.S. states.
Do you offer rush orders?
Sometimes! If you need your order sooner, reach out to us at hello@cozypandaevents.com, and we'll see what we can do.
Rush orders typically ship within approximately 3 days, while standard orders generally arrive within 1–2 weeks.
What happens if my order arrives damaged or doesn't arrive?
While we do our best to ensure a smooth delivery experience, shipping timelines and carrier issues are unfortunately outside of our control.
If your order arrives damaged, is significantly delayed, appears to be lost, or doesn't arrive as expected, please contact us as soon as possible. We'll work with you to make things right.
Do you accept returns?
We don't typically accept returns, but we're always here to help if something isn't right with your order. If your package arrives damaged, is missing items, or doesn't arrive as expected, reach out to us and we'll work with you to find the best solution.
Do you offer bulk discounts?
Absolutely! We love group orders. For orders of 50 or more plaster paint kits, we offer 20% off.

Cozy Panda Event Co. is a mobile pottery painting studio serving Raleigh, Cary, Durham, Apex, Chapel Hill, Morrisville, Holly Springs, Wake Forest, Garner, Knightdale, Fuquay-Varina, and surrounding Triangle communities.
We bring our paint-and-take pottery experiences directly to homes, schools, businesses, breweries, coffee shops, parks, community spaces, and event venues.

That's the beauty of being mobile! We offer complimentary hand delivery throughout the Triangle for private event and birthday bookings.
If you're outside our standard service area, don't hesitate to reach out. We're always happy to discuss your event and see what we can accommodate.
What is a mobile pottery painting experience?
We bring the pottery painting experience directly to your group. Depending on the package you choose, we'll provide the pottery pieces, paints, brushes, and other supplies needed to create your own paint-and-take pottery experience.
Our mobile experiences can be hosted at your home, a private venue, workplace, school, brewery, coffee shop, park, or other gathering space.
No artistic experience is required, just come ready to create!
Can I host a private pottery painting party?
Absolutely! Our mobile pottery painting parties are a fun option for birthdays, girls' nights, team-building activities, family gatherings, corporate events, and other celebrations.
